|
He has pain in his teeth or jaw. (他的牙齒和下巴疼痛。)
He has some problems with his teeth. (他牙齒有問題。)
The tooth hurts only when he bites down on it. (他咬東西時，牙齒就痛。)
His gums are red and swollen. (他的牙床紅腫。)
His tongue is red and sore all over. (他的舌頭到處紅和痛。)
His breath smells bad and he has a foul taste in his mouth. (他口裡有怪味。)
His gums do bleed. (他牙床有出血。)
He has some sore swellings on his gum or jaw. (他的牙床和下巴腫痛。)
He has sore places on or around the lip. (他的嘴唇和周圍都很痛。)

描述症状：
My tooth is aching again.（我的牙又疼了。）

One of my incisors is loose and aching.（我的一颗门牙松动而且疼。）

I think one of the back ones at the top is giving most of trouble.（我觉得上排有一个后牙疼的最厉害。）

粘膜 Mucosa: 顏色 color, 色素沈著 pigmentation, 潰瘍 ulceration.
齒齦 Gums: 齒齦膿漏pyorrhea, 出血 bleeding, 齒齦炎gingivitis, 齒齦腫脹swelling of gums.
舌 Tongue: 顏色 color, 乳頭萎縮 papillary atrophy, 潰瘍ulceration, 扁斜deviation, 運動 movement, 舌苔coating.
牙齒 Teeth:無齒的 edentulous, 牙齒數目 number present, 口腔衞生欠佳或良好 hygiene poor or good, 牙根 roots, 齒髓炎pulpitis, 假牙false teeth, 齲齒 caries, 失去的牙齒missing teeth, 修補牙齒 dental repair( 牙冠crowns, 裝橋術bridgework, 鑲嵌inlay, 充填filling)

医生： 让我给你检查一下。我发现你有两只坏牙。其中一只蛀的不厉害，可以补。但另外一只必须拔掉。马上就可以拔掉它。
Dentist: Please rinse your mouth.
医生： 请漱口。
Patient: Will it hurt?
病人： 拔牙痛吗？
Dentist: No. We will give you an injection to keep you from feeling anything except numbness. Don’t move while I give you the injection. Do you feel numbness in the area now?
医生： 不痛。我们要给你打麻药使你只感到麻木，此外无任何感觉。注射时你别动。现在患部感到麻木吗？
Patient: Yes, I do.
病人： 是的。
Dentist: That’s good. It is the time to take it out.
医生： 那很好。现在可以拔牙了。
（The dentist puts a sterile cotton ball in the wound after the tooth is extracted.）
（医生把一只消毒棉球放在拔过牙的伤口上）
Dentist: Bite on the cotton ball for half an hour and don’t suck.. Keep
from eating or drinking for two hours, and then take only soft
food. Do not spit out your saliva because it will cause bleeding.
医生： 咬紧棉球半个小时，不要吸允。2小时不要吃东西或喝水，以后只可以吃软食。你不要把唾液吐出来，因为这样会引起出血。
Dentist: Here are two tablets. Take one when you feel any pain. Come
back to see me if there is a lot of bleeding. You can make an
appointment to see me about the other tooth.
医生： 这里有两片药。痛时可以吃一片。要是流血过多就来找我。关于另外一只牙，你可以与我预约。
Dentist: please sit down. What is your trouble?
